1962 Impala Hardtop - 283 V8 AACA Award Winner!

This 3 owner top of the line 1962 Chevrolet Impala has been well preserved and has been awarded the prestigious VCC preservation award along with it's AACA senior award. The Impala was Chevrolet's top model line in 1962. This Twilight blue 62 is powered by it's original 283 V8 engine. Power is transferred through it's automatic transmission. Equipped with power steering, manual brakes, T3 headlights aux trunk light and a pushbutton AM radio. The factory aqua interior really compliments the gorgeous Twilight blue exterior. They were well equipped with a long list of standard features including aluminum front seat end panels, bright metal backed rearview mirror, built-in door safety panel reflectors, rear seat radio grille, and sport-type steering wheel with Impala center emblem. This Impala has only had 1 repaint and has been well cared for and preserved since 1962. All exterior chrome, trim and stainless are in beautiful condition.

Aesthetically, the Chevy Orange small block looks great, framed by a original engine compartment that's complete with clean decals and a fully finished hood. And everything, from the car's pliable GM hoses and retro glass washer bottle to its big ear radiator cap and original style generator, is nicely detailed and ready to show. And behind the passengers, a fully restored trunk seals a correct mat, a correct jack and a full-size spare tire below correct insulation and the original decklid decal. Riding on the correct 14 inch wheels with Firestone white wall tires this sturdy X frame chevrolet will cruise for days and display it's iconic three-circle taillights.

It's really no surprise that these cars are amazingly popular with almost everyone who sees them, because they have such a great combination of style, presence and performance. Advertised as 'lets you know you're the boss,' the Impala truly lived up to its motto for many years. Noted as one of Chevrolet's most historic vehicles, the Impala has been an American legend for decades. Setting a standard in comfort and value, the Impala seemed to set the bar for the American muscle car.

Being awarded these prestigious awards this Impala is ready to be passed along to it's next care taker. So, what are you waiting for? Pick up the phone, park this '62 hardtop in your garage today!
