1954 Ford Crestline - 239 V8! 3 - Speed Front Disc Brakes Well Preserved!

1950 marked the 50th Anniversary of Ford. The Ford Customline became Ford Motors medium priced variant of the passenger car lineup. It featured a wraparound windshield, curved rear glass and the ''slab sides'' which gave the model a more modern appearance. The Customline was available in 9 different models including two-door, station wagon, convertible, sedan and sedan delivery. Offered for your viewing pleasure a 1954 Ford four door Customline Sedan. In Skyhaze green, plenty of chrome trimmings this car has nice overall paint showing a car that has had a good life, and has been well kept.

Skyhaze Green covers the straight steel panels of this car that have factory aligned gaps, From the neatly designed big 50's style front bumper to all the exterior's chrome and stainless the quality is excellent. This Customliner has front & rear bumper guards. Skyhaze green painted wheels with NOS FORD badged chrome caps are wrapped in new Diamondback wide white radial tires on all 4 corners. The roof of the car adds a contrasting Sandstone white and is bathed in that color. The overall fit and finish of this 54 Ford is very very nice and will draw a crowd around it purely on it's overall condition.

The interior has a new carpet and is finished in it's original green plaid material which was NOS fabric. The horseshoe speedometer and gauge cluster along with the dash stainless and all the interior controls are in excellent condition. The steering wheel is also in excellent condition. This 54 is equipped with a pushbutton AM radio. The interior quality is just another example of how well kept this Ford is. Being behind the wheel is like you were back in 1954!

Power is supplied by a 239 V8 Ford powered engine backed by a 3 - speed manual transmission. Under the hood displays a very nice and correct detailed engine compartment. With the proper markings and stickers this engine bay looks showroom new. Once again a display of how nice this little 54 is. The trunk compartment is highlighted with a correct spare and jack assembly along with a manual and some 1954 literature. One nice feature is the car has been upgraded to front disc brakes which really help the stopping power. A quick starter, and good driver with all functions working, smooth on acceleration and the transmission works easily with the clutch. A good overall ride that has recently had a new gas tank, fuel pump and clutch.
