1966 Ford F100 Twin I Beam - 37K Actual Miles Factory Black!

1966 Ford F100 Twin I Beam - American trucks have built a well-deserved reputation for being tough, virtually unbreakable workhorses. Through solid engineering and fresh innovation, the vaunted F-Series has been a dominant force in the world's largest automotive markets for close to 70 years. With that in mind, demand for classic trucks has never been hotter. And that means, after a lifetime of dedicated service, more and more of these gladiators are being retired to dry garages and leisurely show fields. If you're in the market for a standout classic, settle in and take a close look at this sweet Ford!

BODYWORK/TRIM

This cool F100, a solid canvas that reflects timeless Americana, wears a nice ground up restoration that dresses traditional Raven Black in a bleve of well-placed details. At the front, an color keyed grille hangs simple headlights between amber parking lamps, bold “F O R D” lettering and a mirrored bumper. At the sides of that grille, a flowing profile parallels stylish stainless trim with chrome door handles, a traditional fuel filler, familiar “Twin I Beam” emblems. And at the back of the truck, a “F O R D” stamped tailgate secures a factory short bed, which displays custom taillights over a second mirrored bumper. Take a look inside the rear bed and you will find all new wood panels to really accent the Raven Black exterior.

ENGINE

Tilt the hood and you'll find a new, 302 cubic inch crate V8 that's dressed to impress. And spark comes courtesy of a traditional HEI distributor, which sequences fire through 8mm MSD plug wires. Aesthetically, the truck's bay presents a clean appearance. And quality ancillaries, like retro fit A/C and power steering to power disc brake booster, provide a nice combination of show and go.

INTERIOR

When you pop this pickup's doors, you'll find a comfortable cockpit that, in traditional truck fashion, features tastefully conservative trim. Top dead center, a new digital AM/FM radio displays your favorite radio channel. Opposite that ledge, a Ford branded bench features retrofitted seatbelts. At the sides of that seat, the doors found traditional handles on custom panels. Beneath those panels, clean carpet floats snazzy “Ford” rubber floor mats. Opposite that rug, a new headliner and black visors. And the driver spins a Grant GT steering wheel with tilt. Center of the column displays the RPM tachometer for rev control.

DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION

Replacing the rudimentary straight-axle in the front was all-new independent "Twin I-Beam" suspension with coil springs. 1966 F-Series trucks are distinguished with a "TWIN I-BEAM" emblem on the front fender. The trucks power is backed by the 3 - speed manual transmission that spins a tough 9 inch rear axle. Retrofitted power steering makes parking easy and turns a cinch. Stops are provided by retrofitted, power-assisted discs and drums. Aftermarket header exhaust feed fresh, 2.5-inch pipes, which are wired with throaty mufflers. And power meets the pavement through 5 star American Racing rims wrapped with Mastercraft Avenger G/T tires.

The classic truck market has never been better, and offerings like this cool 37K actual mile F100 are a perfect testament why. With a reliable, well-dressed drivetrain, a comfortable interior and attractive factory lines, this Ford is guaranteed to gain fans everywhere it goes. Looking for a standout cruiser that'll provide years of great memories? Don't miss the chance to add this sweet pickup to your collection!
