1964 Pontiac Grand Prix - Highly Optioned California Car PHS Documented!

Two years after its 1962 introduction, Pontiac's Grand Prix had established its reputation as a sporty Hardtop with clean styling and a tantalizing lineup of big-inch V-8 powertrains. The 1964 model built on the previous year's change to flowing lines and a Coke-bottle shape, with headlights frenched into the front fenders and bumper and an updated grille treatment with fine horizontal slats. The Grand Prix also had one of the industry's most sporting and luxurious interiors, with Morrokide seat coverings, console-mounted floor shifter, in dash electric clock and generous instrumentation. This handsome Grand Prix Hardtop is powered by a 389 CI V-8 engine. Singapore Gold paint and Saddle interior make an attractive combination in this car, which retains a factory drivetrain including its Hydramatic transmission. It carries over 20 factory options, among which are power steering and brakes, power windows, tinted glass, AM/FM radio, rear window defogger, oil and temperature gauges and clock, manifold vacuum gauge and rare 8-lug aluminum wheels. The body has never been removed from the frame; the car was repainted after being stripped for respraying and the engine compartment has been carefully detailed.
